Meet the Consortium
The consortium is composed by organisations from Finland, Spain, Belgium, Italy, and Slovenia.
Each partner is an expert related to the fields of the project, and they are collaborating to provide the best results possible to the stakeholders and future beneficiaries.
Laurea (Finland) is the project coordinator. Laurea University of Applied Sciences operates in Uusimaa region at six different campuses. There are about 9,900 students, 660 staff members and 34,700 alumni in their community. According to their expertise, Laurea will focus on undocumented migrants and fair-trade policies.
The University of Maribor (Slovenia) will focus on victimisation and trafficking in human beings. The University of Maribor is the second largest and the second oldest university in Slovenia. It is oriented towards attracting the best students and creating a development environment where excellence is at home in every respect.
CESIE (Italy) is a European centre of studies and initiatives established in 2001, inspired by the work and theories of sociologist Danilo Dolci (1924-1997). CESIE will focus on migrant women and female victims of trafficking.
INCOMA (Spain) is a training and research centre based in Seville with extensive know-how and experience in the development and coordination of international cooperation projects mainly funded within the framework of EU programmes, especially in the field of education, training and research. INCOMA will focus on digital literacy and social inequality.
UCLL (Belgium) aims to maximise the interaction between research and education, whilst taking their students’ goals and well-being to heart by making their future their mission. UCLL will focus on creative methods supporting migrant integration.
The European Migrant Platform (Belgium) advocates for the rights and dignity of migrants in Europe. They are a group of passionate, established migrants and want to use their experience to add value to society we live in and to the world in general. EMP will focus on successful integration process.
