Progressing Towards Change: JeS Enters WorkPackage 4
The JeS project – Joint eStories: Journeys from Fear to Fair – has reached a new and exciting phase of its development. We are now fully engaged in Work Package 4, which focuses on the creation of the JeS training and learning resources. This stage marks a pivotal step in co-developing an inclusive online learning environment that brings together educators, students, NGOs, and migrant communities across Europe.
The aim of JeS is to promote human rights awareness and tackle pressing European challenges such as human trafficking, forced labour, undocumented migration, and the need for fair trade policies. Central to this mission is ensuring that the voices of individuals often excluded from mainstream narratives are heard and valued in higher education.
During Work Package 4, partners are working collaboratively to design educational tools and structures that will enable these stories and issues to be meaningfully addressed within learning spaces. These materials will support teachers, trainers, and institutions in incorporating JeS topics into their teaching and outreach activities.
As with all aspects of JeS, the development of these resources is guided by our commitment to:
- Equality and inclusion
- Gender-sensitive and stereotype-free communication
- Non-discrimination and respect for diversity
This phase will ultimately feed into the open online platform envisioned by JeS, which will host personal eStories, research, and training content. It is a concrete step toward our goal of building a socially sustainable and fairer European society, grounded in mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue.
We look forward to sharing more updates as this work progresses and to engaging with stakeholders who wish to collaborate or contribute to this shared mission.
