Introduction

Digitalisation has been one of the world’s most significant innovation causing services to become more accessible, improving communication and creating new ways of studying and working. While every-day-living becomes easier for many, there are groups of people suffering from the consequences of digitalisation. One central group in the middle of digital diversion is prisoners. In international studies digital literacy has been recognized as one of the values promoting the principle of normality among prisoners (Rantanen, Järveläinen & Leppälahti 2021, 2).
