Intercultural and Multiprofessional Competencies
Erasmus+ projects provide great possibilities for higher education integration. At Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland, international and Finnish students had a chance to contribute to two different Erasmus+ projects as younger researchers.
Intercultural and Multiprofessional Competencies course included both JeS (Joint eStories: Journeys from Fear to Fair) and ILO (Intercultural Learning Online) projects. Here students from different fields of studies could co-create an ILO MOOC and also study JeS related research topics and write their blogs about such human rights themes as refugee journeys, human trafficking, digital literacy, migrant women’s health, undocumented migrants and female victims as well as migrant integration support. International students also created comparative blogs where they compared the situation in their home country with for example that of Finland.
We will publish these very interesting and current student blogs during spring 2024 here on JeS website and in our JeS Social Media channels, so stay tuned!
